Old Town is easier, louder and more visitor-facing. Kazimierz is warmer, slower and better for conversation. If it is your first night, start in Old Town. If you want better atmosphere, craft beer, food and a less obvious visitor route, spend the evening in Kazimierz.

Club nights usually start with a warm-up drink in Old Town before moving later into club-heavy streets and venues. The biggest mistake is going too early, then assuming the night is dead. Clubs peak late, and a hosted route can help groups avoid dead time, queues and split decisions.

Cheap drinks are rarely on the most obvious square-facing terraces. Look for student/local areas, side-street bars and simpler pubs. Price-check the menu before ordering spirits, especially if the group is already several rounds in.

Small groups can improvise between Old Town and Kazimierz. Bigger groups should keep the route simpler: one clear meeting point, one hosted or booked anchor, one final food zone. Stag and hen groups usually get a better night from structure than from wandering.

Main Square and the most obvious Old Town nightlife streets are convenient, but convenience has a price. Be careful with unclear drink orders, street promoters, adult-entertainment invitations and bars where the menu is hard to find. A normal night out stays normal when everyone can see the price before ordering.
