Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

These terms govern your use of www.showmekrakow.com and any booking you place through the site. Placing a booking means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If something isn’t clear, email showmekrakow@gmail.com before you book.

1. Who you are booking with

Show Me Krakow runs this site and handles your booking and payment. Each experience is delivered by a local operator (for example the pub crawl host, the food tour guide, or the workshop studio). That operator is responsible for running the activity on the day.

2. Booking and payment

  • Prices on the site are shown per person in Polish złoty (PLN) unless stated otherwise. The total at checkout includes any applicable taxes and fees; anything extra (tips, optional add-ons, extra food or drinks bought on the night) is settled separately with the operator.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. You can pay by card or any other method Stripe shows at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Your booking is confirmed when Stripe accepts the payment and our booking system (Bókun) confirms the reservation. You receive a booking reference on the success page and by email.
  • If payment succeeds but the booking fails to confirm in Bókun, we contact you quickly to either confirm the booking on a working slot or refund the payment in full.

3. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before start

  • Full refund — cancel at least 24 hours before the start time and you get a full refund, no questions.
  • Inside 24 hours — refunds inside 24 hours are generally not possible because the operator is holding the slot for you. If something serious happens (illness, travel disruption, bereavement), email us with details and we’ll do what we reasonably can with the operator.
  • No-show — if you don’t turn up at the meeting point, the booking is treated as used and no refund is due.
  • Some experiences have different terms — a small number of experiences (for example specialty workshops with perishable materials, or private experiences that block out operator capacity) may have stricter terms. These are listed on the individual experience page before you book. If the experience page says something different, the experience page wins.

To cancel or change a booking, reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp. Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

4. Changes by the operator

Occasionally an operator cancels or reschedules (weather, staff illness, minimum numbers, licensing issues). If that happens we’ll offer you a new date that works, a different experience of similar value, or a full refund — your choice. Beyond the refund or rescheduled slot, we don’t cover incidental costs (for example flights, accommodation, or a night out that didn’t happen).

5. Showing up and taking part

  • Arrive at the meeting point at the time shown on your confirmation. Late arrivals can miss part of the experience, and in some cases the full experience, without a refund.
  • Many experiences involve alcohol. You need to be of legal drinking age in Poland (18). The operator can refuse participation (without refund) to anyone who is clearly intoxicated or whose behavior is unsafe for others.
  • Follow the operator’s instructions on the day. They can remove you from the experience without refund if your behavior is unsafe or spoils the experience for other guests.
  • If you have accessibility needs, dietary requirements, or anything else that matters for the experience, tell us in the booking notes or message us ahead of time so the operator can plan for it.

6. Our responsibility

We take reasonable care in choosing operators and describing experiences accurately. Experiences are run by independent local operators who are responsible for the activity itself (safety, staff, venues, timing). Where a law or regulation gives you rights as a consumer, nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Beyond consumer rights that can’t be limited by contract, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. We aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses (for example missed flights, accommodation, or loss of enjoyment beyond the experience itself), and we aren’t responsible for the acts of third parties outside our reasonable control.

7. Using the site fairly

Don’t use the site to try to disrupt bookings, scrape at scale, spam reviews, or impersonate someone else. We may cancel bookings we reasonably believe are fraudulent, and refund accordingly.

8. Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. If you and we can’t sort a dispute informally, you can take it to the competent courts in Poland. If you are a consumer, you also have the right to use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you book is the version that applies to your booking. The current version always lives at this URL, with the last updated date at the top.
