Why this feels different

The Krakow food tour that actually feels like a night out with a local

Perfect first night in Krakow

Food, stories, a few drinks and a route that shows you the city. A calm social start — not a chaotic pub crawl.

Real Polish food, not tourist filler

6+ tastings chosen by people who actually eat here: pierogi, street food, cherry liqueur, and 2–3 Polish shots.

Social, not awkward

The food-and-drinks format makes conversation easy. Solo travelers routinely leave with new friends.

Local guide, local stories

Legends, history, and context you would never find on your own — told like a friend, not a lecture.

How the night feels

Three hours that go by like one.

Not a guided march. A small group, a local who knows the corners, six tastings that build from warm pierogi to cherry-bright shots — with stories in between that stick.

  1. 0:00
Meet your guide in the Old Town
A small group finds each other under the clock — no huddle, no lecture, just hellos and the first walk.
  2. 0:15
Pierogi, the way locals eat them
Hot from the kitchen, paired with a story about why Krakow still argues over the dough.
  3. 0:45
Through the lanes, with the legends
Your guide turns corners into chapters — dragons, kings, and which courtyard the students claim at 2am.
  4. 1:15
The street-food stop you’d walk past
A window in a wall, a cook who knows your guide by name, a bite you’ll still be talking about tomorrow.
  5. 1:50
    Cherry liqueur + Polish shots
The part where the group stops being strangers. Two or three flavored shots and one sweet cherry finish.
  6. 2:30
Relaxed finish — leave when you want
Most people stay for one more. You’ll walk off with tips for where to go next and, usually, new company.

Exact stops vary slightly by night · small group, social pace

What you’ll taste
6 tastings across the night
  • 01
    Hand-folded pierogi
hot from the pan, the way locals actually eat them
  • 02
    Krakow street food
the window-in-a-wall kind you’d otherwise walk straight past
  • 03
    A regional savoury bite
the one that ends up on your "how do we make this at home" list
  • 04
    Cherry liqueur
a wickedly sweet little shot Poland wrote the book on
  • 05
    2–3 flavoured Polish vodkas
a short education in the country’s other national pastime
  • 06
    Something sweet to finish
because by now you’ll want it
Why this, not the other one

Not another tourist-trap food tour.

Most Krakow food tours are built for footfall. This experience is built for an actual night out — the kind a local would take a visiting friend on.

Atmosphere
Typical tourist food tour
Checklist energy, camera-first stops, and a guide running the same script all week.
This experience
Conversation, local stories, and a group that feels like an actual evening out.
Guide style
Typical tourist food tour
Scripted facts delivered to a crowd that mostly stays in its own bubble.
This experience
A local guide who reads the room and tells the bits worth remembering.
Food quality
Typical tourist food tour
Safe picks chosen for convenience and throughput rather than genuine local favorites.
This experience
Proper pierogi, local street food, cherry liqueur, and stops you would miss without a local.
Crowd type
Typical tourist food tour
Big mixed groups where couples and solo travelers mostly stay in their own lane.
This experience
Small social groups where solo travelers, couples, and friends all slot in easily.
Value for money
Typical tourist food tour
You pay for logistics and still need to figure out where the night goes next.
This experience
You leave full, a little tipsy, and already know where to go next if you want to keep it going.

The Tipsy Food Tour in Kraków was a great mix of local food, drinks, and a relaxed, social atmosphere. We got to try a variety of traditional dishes and regional alcohol, all while exploring different parts of the city. The pace was perfect not rushed, but never boring and each stop felt well chosen and authentic. The highlight of the tour was definitely our guide, Wiktoria. She was absolutely incredible, funny, energetic, and clearly passionate about what she does. She made everyone feel comfortable and turned the whole experience into something much more than just a food tour. Overall, it’s a fantastic way to experience Kraków from a different perspective. Great food, great vibe, and an unforgettable guide.

Had a great experience on this food walking tour! Our guide Kinga was super friendly, engaging, and made a real effort to connect with everyone in the group. She introduced us to a wide range of Polish dishes and shared interesting stories and local legends along the way, which made the whole experience feel immersive and personal. It felt less like a tour and more like being shown around by a knowledgeable friend who genuinely loves the culture and food. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it. Just something to keep in mind, there is quite a lot of alcohol involved as part of the tastings, so come prepared!
